just got a call from this number.....what iidiots....phone i.d. said phone scam....thanks for the warning!
After being called six times within a week, I pressed "9" to speak to a real person in order to get my name removed from the list. I spoke to a man who called himself Kevin. When I told him that I wanted my name removed, he became confrontational. I told him that it was illegal what his company was doing, even criminal. Wherupon he screamed :"You are calling me a criminal ?" I said, no, I am talking about your company, which you represent. You are calling me a terrorist ? That will cost you 700 Dollars ! " "What are you talking about ? Why should I call you a terrorist ?" ""Did you not listen to President Obama when he said everybody should have their interest rates lowered ? "I just want to be taken off the list." "Ok, I have all your information in front of me and I shall make a note of this." I have a heart condition and am sitting here with palpitations.I felt threatened. Apparently, the young man had not been briefed about "opting out" - amongst other things. Nobody, especially an unsolicited caller,should be allowed to do this to an honest citizen.

received a call today ( 9-26-11 ) from 567-248-4400, - caller ID said "PHONE SCAM" A recent alert was issued about a phone scam in our area
Received call from them today, Didnot answer because the number was not reconized. Looked it up and was a telemarketer. Put on my block caller list.
I recieved a call from 567-248-4400 no message was left. I have recieved calls in the past to lower my cc but I never give them imformation. I call my cc company right away and pass the number and imfo on to them. Your cc company has resources to deal with them. They will sent out alert and watch your account. never give your info to someone that claims they are from cc. Hang up and call cc dirict. they will tell you if its a scam.
I received a call at work from this number. The person who left the message said f*ck you Stacy you f**ckin white c*nt! My first reaction was to call the police. I'm glad that I looked into it first.

These people called with a recorded message and nobody on the line (this is illegal), claiming that they would lower my credit card interest rates. I pressed "9" as instructed, and eventually "Mike" came on the line. He refused to provide a company name other than "Card Services" and hung up when I asked a second time. This is definitely a scam. Absolutely no legitimate business would hang up when you asked them to clarify the company name - in fact, they are required to provide the company name, street address (not a P.O. box) and a non-toll-free phone number when asked.

My Mother received a call from 567-248-4400 today.She told the man who called she didn't know if they were legit. The man hung up on her. She has called cc companies and closed accounts. BEWARE!!!!!!

This number just called my phone and left a message that sounded prerecorded. Bottom line they wanted my credit information to "lower my interest rates". This has scam written all over it.

Opting out & the do not call list DO NOT apply to foreign phishing scams!!! Visa, MC, and credit bureaus do not know your interest rates!! Only the member banks AKA bank of america, chase, well fargo, etc. If you fell for the scam, DO NOT mention it to the bank. They will record the phone call and use your admission to deny any responsibility or refund of lost funds. Simply report your card as lost or stolen.

This company calls with a recorded message that I have to talk to them about lowering my interest rates. First, it is illegal to place the call with a recorded message unless you have an operator on the line when the call is answered. In addition, the number they called is already on the do not call list. I press the number, '9' in this case, to talk to a representative, and the representative, 'Elija,' refuses to provide a phone number, the true company name, or the physical address as required by law. This is just a scam. Do not provide these people any information.

I initially got a recorded message claiming to be from "Card Services". At the end of the recording, I pressed "0" and a live person answered. I asked to be placed on their Do Not Call list. Their response was: "We can f'cking call you any time we want. Matter of fact, we are going to f'cking call you over and over again".

When I asked the real person to take my number off his list, the guy calmly said, "F*** You!" I thought I must have misunderstood him since he had an East Indian accent, so I said, "Sorry. What?" And he said, "I said, F**** you, Maam." Apparently his a frustrated little thief! This is most definitely an attempt to steal credit card numbers.

A woman from cardholder services keeps calling me I told her to stop calling but I don't think it;s enough. I wanna report her and her company!
Annoying calls from a company offering to lower credit card interest rates. I have repeatedly told them I have no cards and to delete my number ... but the automated machine just keeps called. When I have held on to wait for a live operated and explained that I do not have credit cards I have been hung up on. Awful ... really bad .... horrible ... no excuse for this behavior. What people will do for money!!! This number 567-248-4400 is an "Ohio Telecom, Inc." number. As a retired paralegal I have the time to check it out, follow through and contact whomever can put an end to the way they conduct business.
